RenderPlate

Stage 05  /  Licence

Run 04 onwards.

One payment, once, for the machine you work on. There is no monthly plan to forget about, no render credits to top up, and no seat you lose by reinstalling Windows.

Buy a licence

Card payment through Stripe. Your licence key arrives by email, and the same page shows it immediately after checkout.

Price in US dollars. Tax is calculated at checkout where it applies. You will get a receipt by email; if you need a business invoice with a VAT number on it, enter it in the checkout form rather than emailing afterwards.

What changes when you pay.

Only one thing does, and it is worth being blunt about which: the run counter. Everything else in the trial is already the finished product.

Free trial

Three runs

  • Three complete image sets at full quality, no watermark, free to publish and sell from.
  • Unlimited quick previews, before and after the three runs are gone.
  • Every profile, every character control, every view. Nothing is held back.
  • No account, no email address, no card, no expiry date.
  • A fourth final render.

Licence · $49 once

Everything above, without the counter

  • Unlimited final image sets. The trial's only limit, removed.
  • Every future version, at no further cost.
  • Commercial use of the images you render, in listings, ads, packaging and print.
  • New printer profiles and materials as they are calibrated.
  • Anything that would require a server. There still isn't one.

Before you pay, the awkward part.

Reasons not to buy this, listed by the person selling it.

Windows only. There is no macOS or Linux build, and none is promised.

Bambu Studio is not included. You install it yourself, free, from Bambu Lab. Without it RenderPlate cannot slice, and without a slice it cannot render.

Bambu Lab profiles only, for now. A1 and A1 mini with a 0.4 mm nozzle in PLA. If you print on something else, the geometry will still render, but the surface will be a calibrated A1 surface rather than yours.

Final renders are slow. Several minutes each, on your CPU. This is not a live viewport.

The images are illustrative simulations. They are not predictions of what your printer will produce, and they are not a substitute for a test print.

What exactly counts as one run?
One final image set from one model at one set of settings. Re-rendering the same model with a different colour or camera is another run. Quick previews are unlimited and never count.
Can I sell prints, or listings, using these images?
Yes — that is what the licence is for, and it covers the three trial runs too. The one thing it cannot give you is rights to a model somebody else designed; that is between you and them.
Do I have to say the images are renders?
RenderPlate keeps the illustrative-simulation disclosure attached to what it outputs, and several marketplaces have their own rules about rendered versus photographed listing images. Check the rules of the place you are listing on. It is also just good practice to include one real photo of the printed object when you have one.
What happens if I reinstall, or get a new PC?
Activate again with the same key. There is no device limit and no activation server counting your machines.
Does anything about my model get uploaded?
No. Slicing, deposition and rendering all happen on your machine, and the app serves its interface to your own browser over loopback. The only network request RenderPlate makes on your behalf is the one that activates your licence key, once.
Refunds?
The trial exists so you can answer this before paying — three full-quality sets is enough to know whether the output is good enough for your listings. If something is genuinely broken for you after buying, contact support and it will be sorted out.

Still on run zero?

Spend the three free ones first. The page will still be here.
